It is important that a Power of Attorney Personal Care use whatever resources that they need to ensure that the affairs that he/she is managing is handled properly. As such, the attorney can seek assistance in all areas including accountants – to help prepare the taxes, an estate lawyer, an investment advisor, and/or a professional such as myself or a Trust company to advise in the administration.
It is important to note also, that the overall responsibilities of the affairs still remains with the Power of Attorney. He/she can get assistance and subcontract out the work – but not the responsibilities. The Attorney remains responsible to oversee the affairs and make all of the final decisions regarding any and all matters.
Executor Duties on Demand can either assist the Power of Attorney to perform their current duties and record keeping responsibilities, or step in and act as the Power of Attorney for someone – for either property and personal care. We charge an hourly fee – so you only pay for the services that you receive – an hour, a day or a week at a time. There is no minimum value.
