Michele Follows is a professional executor, trustee and attorney for property.
She is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a Chartered Accountant, a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois), and a Certified Executor Advisor (CEA).
Michele’s focus on the estate world started in 2011 after the passing of her father, when she first realized how overwhelming and complicated the executor process can be. The experience made her realize the lack of resources available to smaller estates and the number of unanswered questions that people often have.
In response to this realization, and as her knowledge and passion for the estate area grew, Michele founded Executor Duties on Demand, a service based organization providing essential Executor, Trustee, Power Of Attorney, Trust Accounting, and Wills Assistance.
MIchele combined over 20 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, specializing in accounting and financial stewardship for businesses, with her personal executor experience and various in-depth studies (including estate law and STEP) and focused her skills to become an Estate Simplifier.
Over the years, Michele realized that there is so much that people need to know now and how important it is to be aware and informed.
Too often people just don’t know what they don’t know.
Her desire to empower people lead her to create a seminar entitled “Are you leaving a Legacy or a Landmine”, outlining what people need to know to avoid the various pitfalls that can catch people off guard if they do not prepare ahead of time.
As an Estate Simplifier, Michele is excited about offering affordable estate administration and estate accounting services to more people and has teamed up with various estate lawyers, accountants, and financial planners to offer a full range of services depending on each individual’s situation.
Every person and every estate is unique and Michele is passionate about simplifying the process and make it affordable for everyone.
